My vote

I am not an active or a passive member of any political party, but I have decided to vote for LDF this term. I have been closely watching Kerala politics since 1997 and my conclusion is that, we have an illusion that the other side is “always greener”. This was a similar situation in 2001, and we elected UDF with huge expectations, then again, knowing that was a mistake we reelected LDF in 2006.

Unfortunately the LDF government did not have good media support and most of the media have political views and they were writing lies, but it was not a surprise as historically LDF didn’t have media support. All the media were highlighting were internal issues with the party, but do we really need to care about internal politics of a party? If we are a party member we can worry about it, otherwise it’s really none of our business. One of the reasons to vote for LDF is, because I hate the attitude of UDF who spreading lies with the help of media.

I do not want to vote for someone who is hibernating all the time and waiting for his opposition to finish the term, I do not want to vote for someone who only gets active during the election, I do not want to vote for someone who does nothing to uplift the public, I do not want to vote for someone who does not have an ideology and I don’t want vote for someone is greedy for money and power. I would not say that last LDF government was 100% perfect but I would rate it at least 80% and more over, I felt it was a corruption free government; hence I would give my vote to LDF.
